Joe Walsh, born. Joseph Fidler Walsh (born November 20, 1947, Wichita, Kansas, USA) – American guitarist, keyboard player, composer, singer.
He began his musical career in 1969. Initially, he performed in the trio The James Gang (1969–1971) and the group Barnstorm (1971–1974). In the years 1975–1980 and 1994–2016 he was associated with the American country rock supergroup The Eagles. He has been conducting solo artistic activity since the 1970s. He also assisted many famous musicians in their musical endeavors, incl. the group of REO Speedwagon, Ringo Starr, Andy Gibb, Frankie Miller, Dan Fogelberg, Bob Seger, Steve Winwood and their teammates.
He played a prisoner in a small episode of The Blues Brothers (1980, directed by John Landis), where he played with his friend – actor John Belushi.
