The Doors – Touch Me
The Doors is an American rock group that was formed in July 1965 and dissolved in 1972. The Doors was the most outstanding representative of the American psychedelic rock variety.
The group originated from the accidental meeting of two students at the film school of the University of California Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek. The name itself was an abbreviation of ‘The Doors of Perception’.
The band debuted with one of their biggest hits, the single “Light My Fire”. Other great hits from Doors include “Alabama Song”, “People Are Strange”, “Riders on the Storm”, “L.A. Woman”, “Break on Through”. The group’s career was interrupted by the premature death of its frontman, Jim Morrison.
