In 1984, the single “Rock You Like a Hurricane” also turned out to be a hit, in total the group sold over 22 million copies of albums, making it one of the most famous European rock bands.

    Scorpions were founded in 1965 by Rudolf Schenker (guitar, vocals), Karl-Heinz Follmer (guitar), Lothar Heimberg (bass), Wolfgang Dziony (drums). In 1971, Schenker’s younger brother, Michael, joined the band to play the guitar. Soon Klaus Meine became a new singer.

    Albums that have received the best reviews in the eyes of critics are: “In Trance” (1975), “Virgin Killer” (1976), “Lovedrive” (1979), “Blackout” (1982), “Love At First Sting” (1984 ), “Crazy World” (1990).
