Scorpions – Big City Nights

Who does not know the hit “Wind Of Change”, thanks to which in 1990 the German band Scorpions climbed to the peak of popularity? In 1984, the single “Rock You Like a Hurricane” also turned out to be a hit, in total the group sold over 22 million copies of albums, making it one of the most famous European rock bands.

Scorpions were founded in 1965 by Rudolf Schenker (guitar, vocals), Karl-Heinz Follmer (guitar), Lothar Heimberg (bass), Wolfgang Dziony (drums). In 1971, Schenker’s younger brother, Michael, joined the band to play the guitar. Soon Klaus Meine became a new singer.

Albums that have received the best reviews in the eyes of critics are: “In Trance” (1975), “Virgin Killer” (1976), “Lovedrive” (1979), “Blackout” (1982), “Love At First Sting” (1984 ), “Crazy World” (1990).

God damn, this literally brings tears to my eyes. I miss the days when REAL music ruled the world.
